Formally, this post doesn’t exactly fit the definition of public art right now, but I envision this chandelier gracing a public space in the near future.
Its substantial yet leightweight presence, coupled with the contemporary charm of programmable lighting, make it a compelling focal point.
Crafted from an aluminum frame and repurposed net curtains transformed into cascading strips, the conception, adaptation, and realization demanded a substantial effort. However, I’m genuinely thrilled with the outcome. It now stands as a captivating centerpiece in our theater space, instantly elevating its ambiance and sophistication.
We would be happy to make more of them someday.
