Tamara (51), born in Blacksburg, Virginia.

In the late nineties, during a holiday, Tamara became pregnant. Although she was in her late twenties, the pregnancy was completely unplanned. She didn’t know the father very well, but Errol turned out to be a caring fellow. And together they became a much-loved couple among their friends and family.

When their daughter Donna started university, Tamara returned to the USA after being offered her old job.

She enjoyed reconnecting with her old friends and took care of her elderly parents. Donna visits her twice a year for extended holidays.
But there are moments when Tamara asks herself: “Did I do the right thing by leaving Errol? And is it still possible to reverse everything and go back to how it was?
