Someone told me this painting reminds her of a night when she was haunted by a creepy one. She ran to her Mum’s house and banged on the door in great fear.
But there is positive interpretation too;
Like there is always that first guest at the party. Maybe now you are thinking of that one in your own surroundings. Often it’s the same one every year. Maybe that one thinks; “First in, first out”. Or is it the one who helps prepare the table before the big rush and does the dishes when everybody has left?
